I see, Jay, you quickly becomes my mentor now... I think freedom thru slavery is what globalization is all about. Middle-class workers, who demostrate in street, hate slavery work, while the top management folks enjoy their salary raise and stock options pay. I think globalization should be like, for example, a big dam project in Three Gorges area in China, where various global international companies are involved. It is an international afford that benefits lots of people other than Chinese. As for the Taiwanese who has friction with China, that really comes down to say "where should I find growth in a tiny island, with growing population ?". I think the Taiwanese govt should realize how to get involved with the mainland and be globalized with the mainlander together. In the meantime, they really need to control their population.
