A sinking fund is specific amount of money set aside for a settling of a debt.

Amortization is the writing off of expenditures over a fixed period


Depreciation is the decrease in value of a property through wear, deterioration, or obsolescence.

Goodwill is the commercial advantage of a business because of location, popularity, established reputation, and patronage of that business.

All these are related as they apply in certain circumstances - but each is different - based on the intent for each thing.
