I have even heard the story that Republicans can't vote for campaign finance reform because they need the extra money to counter punch the liberal bias in the media.!

One of my favorites...all the conservative articles about the liberal articles that say Bush is stupid. I read over a fair number of US mainstream papers, San Francisco Chronicle, Boston Globe, New York Times, LA Times, and my favorite the Washingtonpost. I don't recall any articles that said Bush is a dimwit. But god, do I see conservative articles about how the liberal media accuses Bush of being stupid. The closest a conservative article came to sourcing one of these dimwit articles from the liberal media was a reference to Saturday Night Live.

Someone posted a conservative article about how the press picks on the Bush girls, publishing embarassing photos and let Chelsea pass by not publishing her embarassing photos. I don't know what publications those folks look at, but I've never seen an embarassing photo of either the Bush girls or Chelsea. Where the hell are these photos? Are there any photos or do these people just make this stuff up as they go along.

I'm more than happy to [metaphorically] sit down with a conservative on any random day with a Washingtonpost and go line by line, article by article to examine it for bias.

Bush is getting a huge pass in the press these days.
But not for long. The big story is PHONY ENERGY CRISIS SCAM RIPOFF OF A TRILLION BUCKS and don't any of you forget it. That will be the #1 issue for a long long long time. We'll be sick of hearing about Oil-Gate in a few years. Cheney will have mysterious heart problems and need to spend more time with his family as soon as the investigation begins in the Senate. They may wait until election year though, 2002.
Why waste the best issue the GOP ever handed the Dems on an off year? Payback time for Kenneth Starr is coming. Not BJ's in the Oval Office this time but ripping off every single energy-using citizen and entity on earth by coinspiring and colluding to create a totally artificial shortage. Suddenly there is a surplus of energy. Gee, what a miracle.

You obviously have never seen the numerous studies which show conclusively that the media "journalists" and anchors are overwhelming to the left of the mainstream. This post is a fine example of another demolib trait, that is to look reality square in the face and deny it.
