Brian, I saw a funny debate on tv this morning. They had one of the Alger brothers, somebody named Bill Goodman from Putnam and Jim Grant. 2 bulls and one bear and I thought Grant trumped them fairly well.

Exactly, Brian. At *some* point, the market is a discounting mechanism, but as a non-trader, the best I can do is just to look for dislocations, stocks that seem obviously over- or underpriced, and then wait for the world to come to the same conclusion. Or find out that I was the one who was weirded out.
