Spotted Owls fulfilled their purpose of bogging down forest management in the Pacific Northwest, so they are history. Besides there are lots of them, far more than ecoterrorists and demolibs ever thought. The current politically correct endangered Forest Creature is more on their level. I kid you not! Forest management is now held hostage to ... ... slugs! No kidding!
