well, I could point out that the cap-gains exclusion for occupancy is pro-rated relative to the 2-year period for full exclusion; or I could point out that most homeowners don't see their homes as speculative investments to be cashed in at whatever market top (and, anyway, considering how most investors performed when their true speculative investments were topping...); or I could emphasize that, all the same, I do think that the danger of precipitous declines in the housing and retail sectors could get very real if any of the worse- or worst-case economic scenarios do unfold, but, first I have to ask: This topic impacts "daytrading fundamentals" how?
