KF, I got a free copy of Tradestation several months ago. The only attachment was that I use it occasionally for my graphics displays. No problem since I use SC 4.0 a lot. But I gotta tell you...loading charts shorter than Daily is a major chore. Takes forever. Also have a new copy of Metastock. That product is a disaster in database management. The old (well-respected) companies are still (IMHO) producing products for futures traders who only need to look at a few markets at a time. They all need "flipping" capacity, ie the ability to churn through a few hundred equities without waiting forever. Re the MARKET, think everything is set up to devour the earnings reports (and company spin) that will pour out the next few weeks. Even though the technicals are barf at this point, think the market can rally for a few weeks if they get a few encouraging words from the blue chips.
