Duke is a close crony of Cheney. One of the biggest power companies with an emphasis on nukes. Remember Karen Silkwood Story? They were the villains. They actually murdered witnesses and got away with it. This is a tough dirty bunch. What do you need a confession out of Cheney, Duke, El Paso, Enron and the others? That you will have to wait for. Cheney has been touting Duke's agenda for a long time now. He is their man in DC. Also heavy contributors to the B-C ticket.
