You are the only one in denial I am hearing from. Everyone on MDD believes it and there are many conservatives there. You just won't believe anything your favorite politicians could possibly do is wrong or dishonest. You think they're saints. They're not. They're ruthless power and money hungry men and they thought they had the government all locked up. They are in effect a cabal or cartel because they control the energy business along with their Arab friends who owe them for the Gulf War. They are using the power given to them by American soldiers lives and tax-payer money now to enrichen themselves and cheat Americans and everyone world-wide. And we had no way to police them esp when they controlled and both houses of congress. But Jeffords has changed all that. They also knew if they hurt the economy during the election Gore couldn't use that prosperity issue. And they were right. They basically pulled a secret October surprise and stole the election. The evidence is as clear as your nose on the face. Duke Power ordering their techies to cut off power during the height of the "energy crisis" confirms this. And Duke wouldn't do this without White House support. They are very closely tied to Bush-Cheney politically and economically. If it was this easy to get witnesses to talk this is just the tip of the iceberg. Remember Watergate started with a few flunkies being caught. It was a small item in the paper that day I remember. By the way, did I call this or what? Didn't even know about this Duke Power article. WHOA BOY!
