Every knee shall bow at Waco. What a senseless tragedy. It's a good example of how the government, in its well-meant attempt to straighten out a true Wacko, can go terribly wrong. People like Koresh are so twisted that it is unbelievable other people will follow them. Yet it happens again and again. Does the government have the responsibility to step in? Even if it does, it should avoid acting in the ways it exhibited in Ruby Ridge, Waco, Montana, and whereever else it has felt compelled by misguided motives. Nothing but more tragedy has come out of its involvement, and few of the principals on either side are blameless. Reno least of all.
