They sure lived there last time I was there. Two Christmases ago. But I'm so happy for them they built a house. With all their oil profits and tax cuts for old money types they can sure afford a big one.

You know Bush Sr. with all his money has never done a damn thing for Houston's poor and disadvantaged. That's the other rap on the old guy down there. He's a taker not a giver. An elitist silver spooner all the way. Thousand points of light my ass. What did he ever give? Runs in the family I guess. And since I've been going to Houston the air is stinkier every year. Last time I was there I went for a walk in the park and gagged. It was that really-really strident toxic chemical sulphur smell. Really insidious. I've never inhaled anything so bad in all my years in LA even in the East Valley. LA is sprinttime fresh in comparison. It was Christmas Day in Houston, the kids were playing in the park and there was poison in the air.

I actually used to like the Bushes, grudgingly maybe, at least I thought they had a heart and conscience. That they were compassionate moderates who really cared about serving their country. I wasn't even against GW to begin with even though I always admired Gore. But it's so clear now they've really prostituted themselves to the oily soily money and don't seem to give a damn about anyone but their cronies and their own power base.
