Actually, I was never an avid supporter of McCain since I don't live in his state. I disagree with him on a few issues, but on many others I agree with him. So it's a mixed bag with me.

I definitely wouldn't banish him from the Republican party the way you seem to be inferring. Is everything black and white to you Palau? Either the guy is your hero, or you disown him?

As far as being sorry that I don't fit your preconceived notion of a typical Democrat. I'm flabbergasted at where that is coming from. You're the one who propported to be the harbinger of defining "a true blue Democrat". I simply referred to Condit in that way because he's been elected by Democrats for a long time. Seemed pretty "true blue" to me up until this disagreement with you.

Does any Democrat who dares to disagree with Tom Dashle become a "non true blue Democrat" or something? Or is it only the specific issues you wish to bring out in order to distance yourself from a member once he's gotten embroiled in a scandal?

Before one month ago, can you show me one post, or article you've written condemning Condit and his membership in the Democrat party?

I doubt it...

Gary Condit is the quintessential democrat.
