It's not as if we are all equals, is it? The little AIDS-stricken African baby whose mother and father are died of AIDS could consume great quantities of medical care, food, clothing, and shelter, but doesn't have the money to pay for it. That money comes from charity, from those who have more than enough. Or it doesn't come at all.

Meanwhile, in the US, we keep getting fatter, and are thinking maybe we should push ourselves away from the table.
