Bush doing exactly the opposite of what people want. Ignoring public opinions to hand over sweetheart deals to cronies. Almost NO one in Santa Barbara wants more offshore drilling there. NO one. Who elected these people? It's a bit more inlcusive than the people of Santa Barbara. The first President to ban off shore drilling on the West Coast was George Bush Sr, followed by President Clinton. Not to mention a few more people in the States of California, Washington and Oregon. Will of the people? I suppose if you [G.W.Bush] call the oil industry, the people....you may have missed what the role of President of the United States is. jttmab
