The NRA has a very difficult time with many publications and broadcast media because they are so prejudiced and closed minded that they will not accept NRA advertisements. Their idea of the First Amendment is pretty limited too. They will eventually rue the day that the principles they hold so dear have gone the way of the late Second Amendment.

I gave you an example in my previous message: A few years ago the faction that wanted to diversity the NRA into conservation issues held sway. They were defeated, and the political power of the group is rightly concentrated on defending the Second Amendment. I don't know any other example because I don't participate directly. I probably should, but up until now I have been too busy.

...the primary conflict is over how best to defend the Second Amendment
That would be of interest, i.e., what are the options?
