Rarebird, Yes, ABX may become the God of Gold producers. But if the Howe [w/ Gata support] lawsuit is allowed, then the discovery phase will transform the Gata Vendetta against Barrick into a Devil Against Hedging Producer(s) with a result being the possible destruction of Barrick wheather or not Barrick is innocent or guilty or other. Piece of Cake to place a Big Monkey Wrench insides the working gears of something attached to an ongoing investigation into corruption. Guilt by Association very easy to accomplish, and as Bob has mentioned in his dismay of Gata, Gata has and will use this tact against Barrick "with abandonmint" because Bill et al "knows" of Barrick's guilt, and wheather or not it can be proven adds to Gata's determination to "go at" Barrick so that even if Barrick is not found guilty, they will be punished and will deserve all the hurt and pain obtained since it will be less than what they deserve since Gata once again "knows" of Barrick's sins, legal or not. Personally I support this stand and objective by Gata, even if Barrick is free of any wrong doing both in law and spirit and what they have done and continue to do is based on good business practices to deliver shareholder value to the investors, and even include that what they do will[would] be showned later to be good and healthly for the gold markets health, no matter as today and all yesterdays i have concluded that this is a battle of Good v Evil, and with Gata the Good then by default Barrick their foe has to be tagged as the Evil. So be it, its war and innocents will be slaughtered. If if Barrick is totally innocent in all ways, their demise by Gata most likely would send a very strong message of "Do it the Gata way, else." with a net result being positive. Go Gata, Go.
