Correction: Merced taped out on 0.18u. Maybe Merced was originally planned for 0.25u, I don't know, but I'm pretty sure by the time the darn thing taped out, it was on 0.18u. I think you're incorrect about this but I must admit I don't know absolutely. Remember Merced tapedout almost exactly 2 years ago and that was about 3-4 months before Cumine introduced the .18u process. No process data would have been available for simulations and Merced would have been taping out more or less blind. You could be right but then again??? EP
