$300 Billion 3G Market X 4% (Toll Gate Charge) = Cool $12 Billion in the next five years

I feel 4% is too high and it's better to go with more conservative estimates. 3% maybe 2.5% (not saying 4% isn't possible)

Plus, that's leaving out BREW and the ASIC business, both which could do well over 3 billion a year by 2006. Where did you get that 300B dollar estimate?

ggamer,

<< If we can not call QCOM the gorilla of 3G then for sure and no doubt we can call it the "Toll Gate to 3G". >>

They are indeed the "Toll Gate to 3G". You can't do any flavor of CDMA without stopping at the gate.

<< "Toll Gate to 3G" >>

I hope you have patented or copyrighted the phrase <g> ... its a good one, and I do enjoy your graphics.

Ggamer,

Cool $12 Billion in the next five years.

Let's have a little fun. I'll send you a bottle of your favorite wine, up to $150 total cost if Qualcomm has $12 billion in revenue in 2006. (That's 5 1/2 years from now, so I'm being generous.) You send me the same if they don't.

Do we have a deal?
