The NRA regrets the intemperate words that have given you democratic liberals so much ammunition. Most civil servants including both the FBI and ATF are just trying to do their job. Many support the NRA. (No I can't tell you how many.) I have serious reservations about the underlying charter of the ATF. It was poorly conceived from the beginning. Most federal land management agencies have a police force as well. As an employee of a land management agency, I believe that is truly unfortunate.
