Yeah I think we're on different sides of the isle on this one but thats ok. Many things are nice to have but don't solve problems, least of all systemic ones. The reason you and I enjoy having some money is because we probably know how to make it work for us. Many people don't and handing them more at the expense of the taxpayer is not and will never be the answer. Part of the problem does start at the top which is why we should ALL be fiscal conservatives. The other part of the problem is with human nature itself. Things that comes easy are never respected or cherished - they become expected!

After I posted I thought about what I said.....and while I believe it to be true I think it's important to be man enough to admit that I do not have all the answers (if any). I don't want to see people go hungry or become destitute. What you hear is simply a person who is sick and tired of paying UFB high taxes. For the government to impose a tax rate of 43% on most of us ( 28% income + 15.30% Social security) is wrong. Add in the average 5% state tax and all the other taxes such as sales, gas, electric, phone etc etc etc and you come up will a very ugly percentage that our wonderful Uncle takes to the bank. It's out of this world yet we all sit back and act as if its ok. Imagine what our founding fathers would have done under the same circumstances. I think there would have been a Coup.
