Green Germ's rate cuts don't affect credit card rates. He has no control over that and it's not the Fed's job. Wish it were, but the little guy is on his own on reducing the credit card debt, and the car loan. I did it. Took a lot of effort, and it wasn't easy or fun.

But you know what's even more difficult after you paid off that debt... not spending and running up those cards again. Resisting temptation on a new car, or stuff you really don't need. I work on that (resisting temptation to spend) every damn day. That sucks the most in the short-term, but look at all that cash I'm stashing away <gg>.
