it is now 97 limit up or down (5% of what it was, I believe June 1st, or maybe just five percent of the current value, then it might be less than 97. I do not expect much more than -35 near the open. The powers will do the best they can in the pits to stop a morning breach of 1973. After the lunch bounce, it is another story...

In edit, just after pressing the publish button, i got to think about Comcast proposed merger with AT&T broadband. This is quite a huge deal and quite at a premium. T might very well open around $28 (where I will gladly be selling my position from the core, I was waiting patiently to the $25/$26 area <g>, since bought in earlier this year around $16.5), stopping this decline in its tracks, for just a little while. I would not be surprised to see the futures turn up before we actually open tomorrow. Let see how the Asian Markets react. Japan opened down 1.5% and Korea is already down 2.25%, but the night is long...
