I don't remember the meal, but a Reuben would surely be in it. So good, and like being sentenced to torture.

Sometimes when i have a migraine i go eat something forbidden just because i have nothing to lose. Once in an airport I ate an Almond Joy in despair and it made the headache go away, it was like a miracle. Go figure.

I never had a migraine, or even much of a headache, until i took The Pill for a month. I felt sick on it and stopped after a month, and three or four days after i stopped taking it i got a headache that lasted for five years. That was before Imitrex, and nobody gave me anything effective, not even codeine, i guess because if you have a 24/7 headache they're afraid you'll get addicted. Whenever I take effective meds for headache, i think about all the poor people, and third world people, who are suffering from constant migraine with no treatment and some of them working hard all day because if they don't their families will starve.

The other main time I think about that, stupidly enough, is in association with neosynephrine nasal spray, when I have a head cold. Like, "Oh my GOD, think of all the poor people who have to breath through their mouths until their cold is gone!" LOL. You'd think i'd save such thoughts for antibiotics or modern dentistry, but no, it's headaches and a stuffy nose.
