LG, I don't think a few off topic posts are that bad, especially on weekends. I would prefer less OT between Monday and Friday. I would suggest that people put "OT" at the beginning of off topic post. That should help. Spirited discussions with some link to an aspect of the economy (eg..energy) should be OK ...again preferably on weekends. ....as long as it does not get really nasty as it did with the middle east discussion. JMHO. BTW--I noticed that this thread was near the top spot today...have not seen it up there in a long time.
