Win: Try to be the better man here.

Think of it this way: If all the pro-AMD people acted totally courteously 100% of the time instead of insulting people back for their taunts, then the anti-AMD people would start to look comparatively stupid on their own.

(this is not the way I look at it -- it's just a feeble ploy to at least try to get half of the posters to make nice<g>)

I think your alleged intellect is fairly generic also.

Now now!! naughty! naughty! Mother Mani doesn't approve of insults, unless of course it's directed towords someone who doesn't toe the party line.

What happened to all your "free speech" "principles" anyway, Elmer?

I seem to be exercising them.

Let me ask you 2 questions and please try and answer directly:

#1 Do you think simply insulting someone who presents an opposing view is an intelligent response?

#2 Do you think this thread should be reserved for only those who praise AMD regardless of reality? i.e. NiceGuy?

<What happened to all your "free speech" "principles" anyway, Elmer?>

All the usual scavengers are circling on the AMD thread again. Is it July of 2001 or 1999? They can't tell the difference. Intel is burning cash much too fast to cripple AMD. Barret and Co. don't have three years to continue this Q2's experiment in self-mutilation. I doubt that Intel shareholders will stand two more quarters like this one.
