Comcast and ATHM are not exactly best friends. Comcast has been happily willing to shed itself of ATHM shares. Of course if they owned controlling interest they might undergo a conversion. It definitely could get interesting.

Why would a public annoucement of this bid do any good? I guess they are trying to convince T shareholders its a good idea. Seems wierd.
