How does that account for her disappearance? The school kidnapped her and is holding her in a cell in the basement of the Medieval Studies building on campus? :) Some kind of communication like that would have leaked out by now, even if it was received anonymously. Condit got Chandra Levy pregnant, and when she told him the 'good news,' he offered to 'share' the good news with a few of his close friends, but instead he took her on a long lonely drive and killed her and disposed of the body..... now, this is only conjecture, but your notion she was pregnant is not only stunning, but it explains very simply why she disappeared at this particular time, it gives him motive... now, I don't think he would take her anywhere where people would gather, that would only create witnesses and he wouldn't want that... but, the fact that she was phoning her aunt to tell her some exciting news and she then suddenly disappeared can be explained by an unexpected and unwanted pregnancy..... darn, if we can't solve this case right here on this thread.....<g> GZ
