Dan,

Instead of looking at just cash, look at Cash and ST Investments. ST Investments is considered to be a cash equivalent.

Combining both, AMD's cash and ST Investments increased by ~302.4M...

That loan will increase AMD's already increasing Interest expense.

Year over year, AMD's interest expense has nearly doubled to -21M.
