On this we agree. This is a nation of laws, not of cowboys. A constitutional convention to remove the Second Amendment puts the whole shebang up for grabs, and I don't think you want that.

Another registration issue is taxation. Once you build a bureaucracy to manage registration, the next step is taxation. You could tax guns out of existence without violating the Second Amendment but only if you have registration.
