Zero innovation??? How many new companies with how many new business models have appeared since 1997? How many new services are now available on the Internet? I also question whether MSFT's invasion of the Internet has been successful: They made it impossible for anyone, including themselves, to make money on browsers. They got themselves embroiled in a major antitrust lawsuit which at this juncture they are losing. They've spent bazillions of dollars. And after all that, the number one server package on the Internet is.... Apache. If that's victory, I wonder what defeat would look like. Katherine
