as you mentioned jazz ... besides NuAwlans, where I LOVE to go .. as there are live horses and live jazz for me to bet upon and listen to in the winter time .... I've bookmarked this site as a maybe to go in April ....http://www.mspjazz.com/

Maybe I'm not ready for opera (except G&S) but should I at least be graduating to jazz...? I do hope not. Cool jazz leaves me cold, but there are lots of wonderful music styles out there. I'm partial to Dixieland and Andean folk music. And Hawaiian music is charming--the authentic stuff. Of course, I like opera, so what do I know. Check into Zydeco for something different. Karen
