as there are live horses and live jazz for me to bet upon and listen to in the winter time ....

Cool jazz leaves me cold, but there are lots of wonderful music styles out there. I'm partial to Dixieland and Andean folk music. And Hawaiian music is charming--the authentic stuff. Of course, I like opera, so what do I know. Check into Zydeco for something different.
