no contradiction there, just a misunderstanding - the so-called 'Puetz window' is the period in which the intermediate term high BEFORE the potential BK wave is made. his calculation of the actual BK window is based on a fibo count using the May 22 high as the starting point. it's also based on the very fibo-esque pattern of the '29 and '87 BKs.

regarding the question how long the expected low will last, that depends entirely on how bad it gets imo. if we see a real panic like wash-out, i'd say it will be a relatively durable, albeit very likely not the final low. if the sell-off stays tame, i'd be looking for the low to be attacked again in September/October.
