The POG will have to wait till foreigners have had enough of their fill of U.S. denominated debt and begin selling. That won't be as easy as it sounds; for the Bush Administration would not like that very much and would pull all strings to prevent that from happening. This administration, like Clinton, will go to any means IMO to preserve the global supremacy of the U.S. Dollar as the World's Reserve Currency. The stakes are too high not to and the Bush Administration is well aware of what's at stake.

The War against Gold is very real. History shows that an Empire will go to any extreme to preserve the well being of its economy, especially during times of crisis and lack of confidence.
