Is it my imagination, or is MSFT breaking down here? I had planned on using a close below 66 to exit my last remaining position (acquired at 41; not a bad run, but wanted to avoid that tax bill until it was clear it was profit-taking time). Any thoughts or downside targets, anyone? Almost looks like a broadening top to me, which would give it minimum downside to about 55.

Looks like MSFT's breakdown was helped along by SSB:

12:07 ET Technical Downgrades : Salomon Smith Barney downgrades EBAY (-4%) and MSFT (-0.5%) to Neutral from Buy. These downgrades are on a technical basis only. (Salomon frequently issues upgrades/downgrades of stocks based on their charts that do not alter the firm's investment rating on the stock).

PC ratio peaked at 1.04 in the morning, but was down to .78 by the close. Looks like no one wants insurance badly enough to hold it overnight on a modest D.C.B. on light volume. Strange.
