No problem...of course, there is a statistical logic to alteration, but don't want to bore the thread with that

(Of course, my "rule" is a bastard of that-g)

We also tanked Thursday into close too....that makes me believe (even more) we won't here...

Two (sorta) interesting statistically viable things about today for ya, Jack.

Don Sew has tested a Friday/Monday pattern that he calls statistically viable which states that if Friday is down, Monday will be flat/down.

However, the wonderfully named Justa Werkenstiff noted that July 9th is positive over 80% of the time (i think it was 87%), the second highest figure behind December 31. Why, I haven't the foggiest, but I believe him. (Check the Stock Attack II thread for the post in question)

All FWIW, which, I suspect, isn't a heckuva lot here with 45 minutes left in the trading day.
