Weeeeellll JT and JHorton, I think I will wait one more day.

I just don't like the smell quite yet. Call me chicken but we are not IMHO at a support point yet, we may run on up but I can't tell and for sure we have some resistance points just above us. I have the OEX daily down trend line at ~ 625 or so.

So I will wait.

As TM, I kept the Phleet (72%) in Port today.

What is interesting is that, while TM & I are looking at reasons to enter, you are looking at reasons to exit. I totally agree with you that the EMC warning was devastating. What I hear from tax clients in the tech field is that few new IT projects are being started. The EMC warning reflected an alarming decline in a critical IT component -- storage. I feel that the GLW CEO has probably been most up-front with the problems of the industry. What their 2nd half warning meant to me is that the international business is drying up. How often do we have to continue to hear this message before we get it?

The reason I kept the Phleet in port was that I did not see the generals - GE & MSFT - leading the charge. JH made a reference to the "Captain." He is the one several years ago that got me to focus on the Big Boyz. He indicated this evening that he is seeing some hopeful signs in his version of the Big Boyz. IMHO the biggest of the Big need to participate or this is just an illusion. Clearly, from an FA perspective, both are overvalued, but little isn't these days.

I still expect a rally to commence shortly. OTOH if it doesn't, I don't give much hope for this market for the next couple of months. BTW I also expect a move to retail shortly as that ~$40B starts moving from the Treasury to the consumer.
