Siemens and NEC said voice tests on trial third generation UMTS networks in Italy, Germany, Austria, Monaco and Finland have been carried out successfully. This article is embarassingly inaccurate in its claim about the UMTS networks that are scheduled for delivery by year's end. There are more in Europe than just in Sweden and Italy, and, believe it or not, there are even some outside Europe.
