Well, if you only wanted to apply the Second Amendment as written, you would agree that the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. You want to infringe it all over the place, so your argument does not wash either. Tell me, do you like the idea of your image being recorded when you go to a football game or walk into the post office? And then have that image being compared with a database of criminals? Do you think that the government should exploit that technology to the fullest? Do you think there is potential for abuse? When all cars finally get GPS and realtime wireless connection do you think you should get a ticket in the mail or be arrested if your GPS reports that you exceeded the speed limit? That very thing is happening right now., If you are comfortable with that, we are in real trouble because there are sure to be others out there who don't get the connection.
