I think it means that many companies will not make a profit this year. However, unless we just see a collapse in the economy I don't think that it will continue. It may take another year for profits to come around but IMO they will come. We are nearing a phase where companies will again be forced to buy newer technology. For many generations of chips (since say even the pent 2) there has been little reason to upgrade. As applications get fatter and the need for speed grows companies will break down and upgrade. It's been almost 2 years now since we have had a cycle like that. It's coming! XT will force that issue imo and technology investment = better productivity. It's an undeniable truth. Like I said in my last post.....It may take another year but expect things to start picking up. We need one more good flush and things will turn IMO.

So...the whole world expects the market to collapse.. Maybe I am a contrarian but I still think we have seen the lows...
