I went to the neighboring farm with my kids this weekend. We picked some sugar snap peas and some blueberries. The kids love to go. They love to eat them right off the vine, they sneak them as if they were candy. It has become a yearly outing for us, and one they look forward to. They witnessed some of the thousands of lady bugs "fighting" and became quite fascinated by them. My five year old wanted to know why the one on the bottom wasn't fighting back so much. No doubt a question he won't be asking when he is a husband. I made the best blueberry pie ever. But it was because of the blueberries I'm sure. Nothing beats fresh vegies and fruit from the farm.
