Here's your unquestioned list of the prophets of Islam ,
how original and earth encompassing are they <g>

Adam
Idris
Noah
Heber
Methuselah
Abraham
Lot
Ishmael
Isaac
Jacob
Joseph
Shu'aib
David
Solomon
Elias
Elisha
Moses
Ezra
Job
Ezekial
Jonah
Zacharia
St John the Baptist
Jesus
Mohammed the Last

Look at this list above ...most of them are mythological
or imaginary...why I am I not surprised?
Inserted for literary convenience ? To fill up space?
Because they had to come up with something ?

You think this list looks original ? Mohammed sets the
tribal world on fire in the Middle East and Africa,
with the poetry and visions so many others of his day
could have had , with some fasting a flagon of
wine alone up on the desert ridge. It was a time
where every Oasis had poet/philosophers speaking
for God around every camp fire.

* Or you could also have dreamed this stuff up
by attending a Greek philosophy 101
class , 700 years earlier. Men follow and march
to the songs of the Bard ...they did it with Homer's
legends for centuries.

I would think if mohammed lived today, Brees ,
he would probably be living right up the
street from you in free
America ( the great Satan)...or in England , LOL!

PS: They left out Alah Ben Ebinezer Scrooge

It seems anything can be excused by childhood trauma, blame poor old Santa.

Obviously they missed out on some special toy they had been hankering after and now they blame God and capitalism.

What do you know of how I define my life?

I very rarely even think of religion. It is utterly irrelevant to my life. I comment on it only if I encounter people that insist on waving it in my face. In my real life this happens very seldom; I am careful to stay far away from such people. On SI, alas, I am less fortunate. Perhaps it is time for another vacation from this place.
