Yamaha launches first 4S PWC:

I'm not really interested in most power per cubic inch. I'm interested in power per pound. And their big claims of fuel economy gains over existing 2S motors do not apply to Sea Doo's DFI boats. And there is a matter of price. I'm betting the Yamaha boat costs more than a Sea Doo DI and doesn't perform as well. I guess we'll find out when those three magazine tests are published. Finally, what happens when the rider falls off and the boat flips upside down? Oil all over the bilge?

SCC volume potential:

biz.yahoo.com

Not only does Saab plan major production increases, but the sharing of this platform with other GM models increases the odds SCC will be under the hood of of GM badged models. I think there's a good chance SCC will appear in more than the "Epsilon" chassis. SCC isn't specifically mentioned, but we know that both SCC and SVC are the future of Saab engine design, and that the head of Saab engine development has moved to GM, where this effort is likely to spread to.

Diesel is unlikely to become common in US passenger cars:

I sure wish OE would complete this Delphi deal, they would give OE's credibility in 4S a big boost:
