"The economy was coming out of recession fall of '92, but it was too late for Bush Sr. and Clinton caught the wave, but the wave died early last year during Clinton's last year."

So it was just coincidence that Clinton was there for the beginning and W for the end of the wave.....

You make it sound so predictable. There have been several shocks to the economy in the years of the Clinton administration. None of those shocks destroyed it because the country and the market will still being led toward a new information rich future.

Bush's emphasis on energy and tobacco and other interest groups knocked the future out of the future. That is why we get a recession and not just another ebb and flow of the growing new economy. The Bush / Cheney throwaway of the surplus did not help much either.
