Give me a break! Almost everything in that article is a lie.

Editorial: It's not payback time
Democrats aren't criticizing Bush as Republicans did Clinton, despite ample opportunity.

You are on a (d)roll tonight!

Obviously Democrats and other liberals don't have a taste for blood sport. How else to explain the absence of criticism of Bush administration behavior that would have drawn shrill condemnation had it occurred on Bill Clinton's watch?

When one side feels justified in their 'level headed criticism' of the other side the certainly don't see it as 'blood sport'.

But this whole article you posted shows an interesting technique of critical engagement.

It is the "attack disguised as self-promotion" technique.

Here would be an example:

I was going to criticize you for posting your emotional drivel about guns and stem cell research, and your half assed attempts at 'humor' at the expense of our president and his administration, but since I am a better person than... well... *somebody in this room*... I have decided to hold my tongue."

*wink wink*
