Justice will not come overnight on the energy ripoffs. Battles in the courts, evidence gathering and cover-ups (how many shredders has the RNC bought?) are starting up now. The Dems will have to rely on the Senate to back them up as they are the only body which has the authority to investigate around the White House that isn't controlled by Bush/Cheney. The Dems may also not be in a big hurry as this is a lovely overwhelming issue to ride into the 2002 congressional elections. Back in the 70's people blamed Carter for the oil embargo/price spikes and he lost. This time the blame may be directed in the other direction and with Bush/Cheney the big oil ticket they will have a hard time getting the tar off their blackened images. That goes for every congressman who's backed their outrageous energy plan as well.
