I hope you're right. On EMC I disagree in one respect.
They do not have a lot of competition in their sector. At least there are the Intel of storage and though I'm hardly an expert on this I have also read that storage contracts have been delayed and put off while companies downsize and tighten belts but that these contracts cannot be put off for long. All that data has to go somewhere and the wold creates much more of it every day. All kinds of information from financial records to everything else in the world. Within 3-6 months I think we'll see a resumption of these contracts and a big surge in backlogged orders. Same with computer upgrades of all kinds. The 4th quarter's when I expect we'll be hearing plenty of good news. And any dog that isn't bbankrupt by then will survive with ultra low interest rates to refinance with.
