Re: Gross Margin

Here's what I got off the www.intc.com website. It looks like GM cold be lower than 49% and still within the guidance.

"Gross margin percentage in the second quarter of 2001 is expected to be 49 percent, plus or minus a couple of points, down from 51.7 percent in the first quarter. Intel’s gross margin expectation for the full-year 2001 is 50 percent, plus or minus a few points." (April 17, 2001)

"Intel expects that revenue, gross margin percentage and expenses for the second quarter will be within previous expectations and slightly below the midpoint of the ranges." (June 7, 2001)
