With regard to gaps, I find it is 'how' the gaps are closed that matter. If its done early in a little bullish wave and with authority, it tells me that we are going higher even if we back off initially. Whereas if it is weak and meanders to the top of a gap, it is a great place to short.

It looks like the Corning news will be ignored for now.
