Paul A: I share your confusion and have decided to sit on the sidelines and let this play itself out. The volatile trading range does nothing but whipsaw the individual investor as they consistently guess and mistime the market movements. I will wait for NASDAQ to drop down to what I feel is a compelling level (1800-1850) before I begin buying tech. It I miss a rally, so be it. It will max out at 2500 or so anyway, and come back down during the September earnings warning season.
