Elwood; There are so many CEOs competing for the idiot of the year award it is hard to tell who is the worst. Certainly MC is in the running. But I think Chambers over at csco has got him beat. I would like that moron chambers to explain if he ever heard of just-in-time inventory and why did he keep his mouth shut as he saw inventory at his customers like-wise going up. I heard recently somewhere that csco shipped probably two years in advance!!! That will take more than an inventory correction to fix! As for halting cpq because it is about to warn - what's the point? Since when did halting minimize the inevitable stock decline?
